Is custom software worth it versus buying something?
Not always, and we will say so. If an existing product fits, buying it is cheaper and faster. Custom makes sense when the workarounds around an off-the-shelf tool are costing real time, or when the process is genuinely specific to you.
How do we know it will be finished?
We deliver in stages, each one usable on its own. You are never in a position where months of payment have produced nothing you can see or use.
What happens if we stop working with you?
You keep the code, the documentation and the accounts. Another developer can pick it up. We would rather you stayed because the work is good.
Can it work with our existing systems?
Usually yes. We look at what you run during scoping and integrate where there is a sensible way in, rather than insisting on replacing everything.
